Kimberly Lester began her career in the real estate industry in 1989 as a manager of residential multi-family homes. In 1994 Kimberly obtained her Brokers license and opened Wise Property Management and Consulting company. Under her leadership, WPM&C became well known throughout the Puget Sound area for assisting apartment owners and local companies with the management of their large apartment communities. Kimberly trained local real estate professionals in site sales, oversaw marketing campaigns and specialized in taking low occupancy & problem buildings and turning them into successful enterprises. During this time Kimberly also taught clock hour classes to other real estate professionals through Mykut Real Estate School.

In 1998, after several successful years in multi-family home management, Kimberly turned her attention to residential sales. While selling homes for a local builder, she grew quickly in her knowledge of the real estate market, law and ethics, forms and procedures, and was soon representing buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. Kimberly’s success has soared; she has won numerous production awards and regularly ranks in the top 3% of all Realtors® nationwide. She has flourished in the Issaquah branch of John L. Scott Real Estate which is often number one in production for the area. Kimberly founded The Lester Group along with Cory Brewer, and she was the top agent in the Issaquah John L. Scott office in 2004.

Kimberly has held and currently holds several designations and accreditations such as the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (LHMS), Accredited Staging Professional (ASP), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Associate Broker, On-Line Agent, Quality Street agent and others. Cory Brewer has been a Realtor® with John L. Scott and The Lester Group since graduating from the University of Washington in 2003.  Prior to this, Cory gained valuable experience in the commercial real estate field while working as a research and marketing assistant for Marcus & Millichap Commercial RE Investment Firm in Bellevue.  In 2006, Cory completed numerous hours of extensive training to earn his GRI (Graduate Realtor Institution) designation in order to better serve his clients.

Born in Seattle and raised in Bellevue & Mercer Island, Cory knows this area extremely well.  He is also very knowledgeable and skilled in working with the latest online real estate tools, including custom property searches for each unique client, cutting-edge mapping technology, and detailed research for projects such as Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) statistics and market condition tracking.

Julia Smith joined The Lester Group after a number of years in the Title & Escrow fields.  Her extensive background includes five years as an Escrow Closer and over three years as a Title Assistant.  With such a wealth of experience in these related industries, taking the next step into real estate was only natural.

Client service and attention to detail are just two of Julia's many strengths.  She spent much of her life in both Central Washington and the Olympic Peninsula.  Throughout her travels, Julia capitalized on her work ethic and outgoing personality to excel in her business career, and she channels her energy and hard work into assisting her clients in any way she can.  She began her real estate career after settling in Kirkland in the summer of 2007.
